On-device cookbook data
Pantry stores recipes, ingredients, meal plans, shopping items, cooked-log entries, ratings, photos, and app settings locally on your device with SwiftData. Pantry does not require an account.
Recipe imports
When you paste a recipe URL, your iPhone fetches that source page directly so Pantry can parse the title, ingredients, instructions, time, and servings. The publisher of that page may see a normal web request from your device. Pantry does not send the URL or recipe through a Toolbelt server.
Photo OCR
Photo recipe scanning uses Apple's on-device Vision OCR. The image stays on your device unless you choose to export or share it yourself.
Purchases
If you buy Pantry Pro, Apple processes the StoreKit subscription and shares only the purchase state needed to unlock Pro features. We never receive your card details.
What we do not collect
Pantry does not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, third-party crash SDKs, contact upload, background location, or tracking.
Delete data
Use Settings → Delete everything in Pantry, or delete the app from your iPhone to remove local records. You can email mitsi@uptrail.ai for support questions.
Children
Pantry is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
